The Iceberg

This has nothing to do with Korea but was too rich to pass up. According to Newsday, aging rock star Axl Rose and fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger engaged in fisticuffs at a Manhattan club called The Plumm last Thursday night.

Tell me you don’t see the marketing potential in this. Fashion Designer vs. Rock Star. Ultimate Fighting Cage. “Are you ready to get it on?” Here are three pairings that I would pay money to see:

Calvin Klein vs. Flea

Courtney Love vs. Donna Karan

And, of course, we need to introduce this new sport to Korea, so who better to face off than:

Andre Kim vs. Lee Joon Gi

I know what some of you are thinking. It’s not fair that Andre Kim is allowed to fight a girl. Well, according to reliable sources (the Korean media) M. Lee JG is in fact a guy. So - LET’S GET IT ON!!!

(NOTE - I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some who would take issue with the Lee Joon Gi joke, so let me just get the criticism out of the way.)

“You suck! Why do you pick on Joon Gi! So what if he’s pretty? So what if he looks nothing like a guy? That’s his business! Get a life! Oh, and he’s not a rock star IDIOT!!!”
