Muse Coming Back to Korea for Pentaport 2007
The rock band Muse is paying a second visit to Korea this summer for the Pentaport 2007 festival. A few of the other performers thus far slated to appear are The Chemical Brothers, Damien Rice, and guitarist Stevie Salas, though it’s still early and there will likely be more bands added later. Last year’s festival featured Franz Ferdinand, the Black Eyed Peas, Placebo, the Strokes, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Snow Patrol, and more. The festival runs from July 27-29. You can find out more information here.

hey, I read your post on the Pentaport Music Festival last year. Im looking for some cheap lodging for a few days while at the concert. Are the love hotels cheaper than hostels? Are there many around the concert area? Any advice you can give me about the concert and lodging and things would be much appreciated. Im coming from Beijing. Thanks

Glad to know someone read it. I’m still considering whether or not to actually finish that post.
Concerning the hotels, there are tons of them within about a twenty minute walk of the festival grounds. I stayed at very nice place for 40,000 won (about $40) a night last year. And don’t take this to the bank, but I’m guessing you won’t necessarily need a reservation.
For further information about the festival itself, click on the link in the post. There is also an English page you can look at.

I am trying to find some sort of media relations contact point for the Pentaport concert, but haven’t had any luck. And I thought since you seem to be the only person writing about the concert in english, you might now where I could look to get this info.
Cheers,
Dave

David,
I’m afraid I don’t know offhand who you should contact, but I’ll do some checking.
In the meantime, why don’t you send an e-mail to:
ticket@pentaportrock.com
and see if they can point you in the right direction.
