Do as I Say and Not as I Do
This morning I read this post over at The Marmot’s Hole about “Real Story: Myo”, the latest television program to run an “expose” on the evil influence of foreign men on Korean women and I thought to myself, “Thank god for these programs. If they weren’t around to inform everyone about the bad man from another land, Korean girls might soon get up to crazy antics like - oh, I don’t know - dancing braless at rock concerts.”
And then I realized that I had video of the show’s MC, Horan, doing just that.

The Korean for hypocrite is “위선자”, pronounced wee-son-ja.
Might be useful to use sometime.

Hi - I’m a White foreign male living in Korea. I made it a policy to keep my hands off the K females.
They are fine in every way but just not for me.
I also keep away due to western men very clear pattern of using Asia for their sexual playground and I think the Asians are tired of it.
The only people I want to harp on are the rice kings. I really tired of lectures on morality from rice kings.
It really looks to me like rice kings are highly racist in choosing mates. Rice kings are the most bigoted people in circulation today.
They are the men that walk Black and Latino women by the bus load to get at Whiter looking and more diminutive females with a much better dowery.
Rice kings think Black women are butt ugly, thats why they don’t chase them.
Until you make those numbers equal zero, I’d really appreciate you shutting your fat trap about a matter you have credibility in.

to be fair (and logical), horan would be a “hypocrite” if she produced a show about the evils of dancing like a normal girl at rock festival- and wasn’t merely just the host of a show about dancing like a normal girl at a rock festival. get my drift?

If you think dancing sans bra at a concert is normal (in Korea), then I fear the evil white bastard has gotten to you too.
Having said that, I would rather that this didn’t turn into people getting a hate on for Horan. She struck me as pretty cool when I met her. A bit of a sell-out, maybe, for presenting something on the show that I’m quite sure she herself doesn’t believe, but she’s just a pawn in all of this.
The bottom line is that these “news/current affair” programs that insinuate blame falls squarely on foreigners for any assumed degradation in Korean values are ridiculous.

Explaining to Koreans that “it takes two to tango” is extremely difficult.
Many Koreans still,on the whole,seem to suscribe to the view that foreigners are something akin to visitors duping Korean girls into non-marital sex.Nevermind,of course,the water trade at home.
The problem is that they take TV and innuendo/rumour too seriously.They just need to get out more and interjiggle.

The birds who are banging foreigners will still repeat what they hear in the press.They just repeat it as something out in the ether.
I doubt she(Timmy Horan)sees any problem with shaking her sweet potatoes for the benefit of(presumably)a whitey with a cheap camera,and then fronting a show becrying such things.
