Underworld, Feeder Confirmed for Pentaport 2008
British electronic band Underworld and Welsh rock band Feeder will be performing this summer at the 2008 Pentaport Rock Festival in Incheon.

Lots of talk on Korean blogs that Metallica, Radiohead, Maroon 5, My Chemical Romance, and the Foo Fighters might also sign on, but for now it appears to be only that - talk.
UPDATE: There’s no way in hell that the Foo Fighters are playing at Pentaport - unless they plan to hop on a plane to Korea following their July 26 show in Pittsburgh and then head right back for their July 29 show in Rutherford, NJ.
UPDATE 2: Scratch Maroon 5 off the list as well. They are booked in the States throughout July and August.
Here is Underworld’s signature tune “Born Slippy” from the Trainspotting OST.
Next is Feeder’s “Miss You”. If you like it, you can download it for free from the official Feeder website.

Scotty
My Chemical Romance are apparently confirmed, as are the Frames, the band fronted by Once star Glenn Hansard.
By the way, my geographically-challenged American friend, Wales is actually part of Britain, too (unfortunate as that is).

I read that those bands are coming to Korea but it’s not yet confirmed whether it will be for Pentaport; and I couldn’t find anything on their official websites.
As for Wales, I just copied it the way it was written on Wikipedia.
Isn’t Canada also part of Britain?

Sort of like how we call the Scottish ahem, British, too, right. I heard “British” rockers Snow Patrol might saunter back. . .

In my humble opinion, Snow Patrol was one of the best shows of Pentaport 2006. That’d be great if they came back.
As far as tickets, the official website is now open and there is a link for purchasing tics.
