It’s on!
Received a call from the future Mrs. Iceberg last night. We received the “all clear” from the Ministry of Justice and will be signing the papers on July 16.

So, are you going to move to VN? How is it typically for S/E Asians in Korea? I don’t imagine it’s great, but I have no facts.

No plans at this point to move to VN. Like you, I have no hard facts on quality of life for S/E Asians in Korea, but - appreciating the fact that the future Mrs. Iceberg is willing to up and move here* - I plan on doing all that I can to make sure she is as comfortable and hassle-free as possible.
*Contrary to what quite a few people think, not everyone in VN is struggling to get by. That includes the future Mrs. Iceberg.

I echo the congrats! But are you sure there’s ABSOLUTELY no way you can put the marriage off until after Pentaport?

Sorry, I meant “wedding,” rather than “marriage.” Just so you know I’m not being unreasonable.

Niels - Hey, what can I say? I tried to convince Mrs. Iceberg to go to Pentaport for our honeymoon.
