About
The Iceberg is a blog operated by a guy who has lived in Korea for over ten years. He speaks Korean nearly fluently, can drink soju without gagging (though he prefers tequila shots with beer chasers), and is not ashamed to admit that he likes 노래방s (singing rooms).
The Iceberg strives to focus mainly on the lighter side of Korean culture. Eat, drink, and be merry (with an added dose of playful sarcasm) is the intended message of this blog. While recognizing that there are certainly peculiarities to Korea that can prove aggravating, it is not the goal of The Iceberg to contribute to the hate. It’s all in good fun.
